Awards 2012
Details of the 2012 Awards programme are now available.
The 2011 Awards were a great success and our thanks go to all our supporters, the volunteer judging teams and of course those who were brave enough to put forward their woodland projects for our judges' scrutiny!
The following prize competitions for 2012 are now confirmed:
- The ever-popular Schools Award entry now open >>
- A special Community Woodlands Award focusing on the Central Scotland Green Network (CSGN) Activity Area entry now open >>
- A New Native Woods Award entry now open >>
- A Quality Timber Awards category with three competitions entry now open >>:
- one for new commercial woodland (New Award!)
- one for small woods, a single stand or compartment of trees
- one for whole estates

The closing date for entries is 31st March 2012 and short-listed entries will be judged between 30th April and 11th May.

The 2012 Scotland's Finest Woods Awards are delighted to have a raft of sponsors for this year's Awards programme.
SFW Chairman, Chris Inglis, said: "We are absolutely delighted that so many sponsors, new and old, are on board for the 2012 Awards and we look forward to a another exciting year of competition.
